The story of a photographer
My name is Makayla Hoffman from Edinburg, VA and now located in Petersburg, WV.
Previously majoring in Agricultural Sciences at LRCC, PennFoster majoring in Veterinary Assisting as well as completed two Veterinary Medicine courses at separate colleges. Career wise, I work with Explosive Detection K9's but after needing surgery from being hurt on the job and over a year of recovery, I had to put my health first. Now going back to my roots working at a vet clinic in my small town and fitting in time for photography when I can!
I competed in pageantry for 20 years. I was actively involved in 4H/FFA for 10 years where my passion for the agricultural industry flourished. Afar from that, I enjoy spending my free time with my little family and practicing behind my lens outdoors.
Like I mentioned on my "Home" page of this website, I felt God steered me into the direction to start the journey of my business after losing my Uncle Eddie. I truly believe he would have wanted this for me, he would have encouraged me to chase my dreams. So here I am, one step at a time. Being behind my camera gives me a break from reality, as well as focusing on capturing the best moments for you and/or your family to forever cherish. Feel free to email me with any questions!
